KEM Returns to 2017 Cincinnati Music Festival

R&B singer Kim Owens, better known as KEM, will be returning to the 2017 Cincinnati Music Festival, performing Friday, July 28 at Paul Brown Stadium. KEM, who has four albums to his credit, including Promise to Love, returns as a fan favorite to the festival, and KEM says he appreciates the support.

Registration open for River Cities Relay in August

River Cities Relay, is returning on August 26 as Northern Kentucky’s signature running event, a relay that will take teams of two or four through some of the most scenic parts of Northern Kentucky’s riverfront highlighting Newport, Bellevue, Dayton and Covington over the 15-mile course. A portion of the proceeds will benefit charities located in Northern Kentucky.

Catwalk for a Cause on May 4 at Liberty Center

Liberty Center will host a spring fashion show to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of West Chester/Liberty called “Catwalk for a Cause Fashion Show” on Thursday, May 4 from 6-9 p.m. in the Liberty Center’s Foundry Building.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the local Boys and Girls Club of West Chester/Liberty.

Queen City Derby Party at Anderson Pavilion on May 6

Queen City Derby Party is first, and foremost, a fundraising event to support investment in African American boys in the Cincinnati region. The second annual event to mark the 143rd running of the Kentucky Derby will be held May 6, 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Anderson Pavilion on Mehring Way at Smale Riverfront Park.
