Cincinnati Ballet presents Carmina Burana and Serenade this weekend


Beauty, passion and strength combine into a magnificent program when Cincinnati Ballet presents Carmina Burana and Serenade, together on one spellbinding program, February 8 - 11 at Music Hall.

Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Friday at 8 p.m.
Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Carmina Burana has a powerful score that has become embedded in our popular culture. It is brought to life by 18 Cincinnati Ballet dancers accompanied by the May Festival Chorus high above the stage and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in the pit below.

Nicolo Fonte's dazzling take on this iconic work is coupled with the beauty and elegance of the first ballet that George Balanchine created in America, Serenade. It is mesmerizingly beautiful and breathtakingly stunning.
