New Menu Items Set for 2017 Season at Great American Ball Park

Each year, the culinary team at Great American Ball Park led by Delaware North ups the ante with their creative additions to the various menu items around the ball park. This year, new additions include a nod to Asian cuisine, festive taco items and a handmade Bloody Mary. 

We were treated to a tasting this week. Here are a few of our favorites.

Date Night Shareables
If you are spending date night at GABP these new shareable items are right up your alley. To satisfy her sweet tooth, the Cherry Drizzle Basket starts with a layer of chicken tenders topped with funnel cake fries, powdered sugar and cherry drizzle. If you are looking to spice things up, your favorite Frybox is now available as a baked potato piled high with Buffalo Chicken and bleu cheese crumbles. You can’t leave GABP without a couple of scoops of Graeter’s Ice Cream.

Taco Tuesday
Taco Tuesday at the ball park just got a whole lot more interesting with the addition of the Taco Dog. The Porkopolis Specialty dog is topped with beef, cheddar, lettuce, pico de gallo and hot sauce. Pair this with a local craft beer and your #TacoTuesday is set.

Lean on Laura’s Lean Beef
If you are looking for a healthier option, Laura’s Lean Beef Banh Mi is for you. Laura’s Lean Beef flank steak is served with Daikon, carrots, cilantro, cabbage, pickled cucumbers and topped with fried wontons and yogurt sauce. The all natural beef has no added hormones or antibiotics. 

Local Favorites Added
Who can say no to Keystone’s Mac & Cheese? They will serve up their Classic Mac as well as their BBQ Bacon King Mac topped with BBQ chicken and bacon. Celebrate Bockfest year round with the Queen City Bockwurst Sandwich, grilled sausage with sauerkraut, peppers and onions served on a pretzel roll.

Brunch at the Ball Park
Your Sunday afternoon menu at the ball park has been jazzed up with the Goetta Reuben Burger. The Queen City’s finest goetta patty is served with sauerkraut, Swiss and Thousand Island dressing. Pair this with the newest cocktail to hit Great American Ball Park, the Bloody Mary and your Sunday brunch plans are covered. The Bloody Mary is served with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, house mix, celery and topped with a beef and pepper stick.
