Sexual Health Matters Speaker Series Continues September 25

The Patty Brisben Foundation Community Speaker Series on sexual health continues on Tuesday, September 25, with “Beyond the Bedroom: Sex and the Gender Gap” at 6 p.m. at the Queen City Club, 331 East Fourth Street.

Speakers include Dr. Somi Javeed, OB/GYN; Dr. Courtney Plattner from UC Health Urology on men’s health and infertility; Laura Pressley, sex and relationship therapist and Kathleen Novicki, pelvic floor physical therapist.

The event is the second of a free public speaker series with the theme #SexualHealthMatters. The series is designed to bring the community and sexual health experts together for an informal discussion on sexual health topics. Each attendee will receive a complimentary gift from Pure Romance valued at $60.

The series was started in June 2018 by the Patty Brisben Foundation for Women’s Sexual Health to educate and empower local women to take charge of their sexual well-being. To RSVP to the free event, visit or visit the Patty Brisben Foundation Facebook page for more information.
