Cars as Hollywood Stars exhibit at the Cincinnati Auto Expo through Sunday
Six collectible cars that have shared the screen with actors including Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, and John Travolta are on display in a new exhibit called Cars as Hollywood Stars at this year’s Cincinnati Auto Expo in partnership with Film Cincinnati. The exhibit is included in the cost of admission at the Expo at Duke Energy Center.
The cars on display include: ‘49 Ford from A Kind of Murder starring Jessica Biel, ’55 Nomad, which has been featured in several movies, ’49 Packard from Carol starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, ’57 Corvette and ‘73 Gran Torino from Miles Ahead also starring Don Cheadle, and the ‘76 Continental Mark IV from John Gotti featuring John Travolta.
“Cars have long had a major role in movies,” said Kristen Schlotman, executive director of Film Cincinnati. “The Cars as Hollywood Stars exhibit at the Cincinnati Auto Expo will feature many of the important cars from films made in Cincinnati. It's a great way to showcase the film industry in Cincinnati as well as the local car collectors in our community.”
