Cincinnati Women’s Sports Association Honors Top College, High School Athletes

The Cincinnati Women’s Sports Association announces its college and high school award winners, by sport, to be honored at the 26th annual Cincinnati Women’s Sports Association annual awards ceremony, to be held at the University of Cincinnati Champions Club on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. until noon.

Winners will be honored on the field at the FC Cincinnati home match immediately after the reception.  

The high school winners include:

  • Lauren Schwartz, Ryle High School, Basketball

  • Megan Glass, Ursuline Academy, Swimming

  • Morgan Southall, West Clermont High School, Diving

  • Logan Case, Ursuline Academy, Volleyball

  • Anna Podojil, Indian Hill High School, Soccer

  • Kelli Niehaus, Mt. Notre Dame, Tennis

  • Samantha Bush, Turpin High School, Cross Country

  • Mirena Combs, Newport High School, Bowling

  • Maclai Branson, Ryle High School, Softball

  • Courtney Robinson, Mariemont High School, Lacrosse

College winners include:

  • Andrea Gahan, Thomas More University, Softball

  • Ella Moynihan, Miami University, Swimming

  • Jordan Thompson, University of Cincinnati, Volleyball

  • Paula Portugal, Miami University, Field Hockey

  • Loretta Blaut, University of Cincinnati, Track & Field

  • Samantha Dewey, Xavier University, Soccer

  • Mikayla Fitzpatrick, Xavier University, Golf
