ArtWork’s Big Pitch Competition set for Next Thursday
The seven local businesses that wereselected as finalists for the ArtWorks “Big Pitch” presented by U.S. Bank, a mentorship program and pitch competition designed for creative businesses, will make their Big Pitch on Thursday, Sept. 28, 6 p.m. at Memorial Hall, 1225 Elm Street. Each group is competing for a $15,000 business grant and a $5,000 Audience Choice grant, sponsored by U.S. Bank.

Making products for beard maintenance including moisturizer, finishing balms, mustache wax, washes and conditioners.
Untold Content, Taylor Mill, KY
A writing consultancy group offering support in communications and storytelling to clients across government, health care and scientific and tech industries.
Hydroponically growing premium microgreens and specialty produce.
The finalists have been paired with a business mentor and U.S. Bank Small Business Banking Specialist. Over 10 weeks, each finalist is receiving mentorship and coaching as well as pitch help and business planning assistance.
ArtWorks Big Pitch presented by U.S. Bank, is offered through the ArtWorks Creative Enterprise division, which trains and promotes creative entrepreneurs through education, access to capital and community connections, and mentorship for established creative businesses. Since 2011, ArtWorks Creative Enterprise has supported more than 300 creative entrepreneurs through CO.STARTERS and The Big Pitch.
