Special Musical Performances at 7:00PM Dave Hawkins, performing or the first time LIVE on stage his special song for the 100th Opening Day.
The Findlay Market Opening Day Parade Committee contacted Dave and asked if he’d consider writing a song to celebrate the 100th Opening Day Parade, and also celebrate the Reds 150th birthday! He has reworked his 2002 song “Opening Day” to make it SPECIFICALLY for these 2 auspicious occasions.

Food from Eli's BBQ, Bouchard's Pasta (meatball hoagies), Lubecker (great German schnitzel), Graeter's Ice Cream will all be for sale, so no one will go hungry. And, of course, libations from Moerlein!
Costume Contest: Runs from 6-7PM with Mystery Judges in the room. All ages are welcome. Winners announced at 7PM.
Theme: Showcase Your Best 100th Findlay Market Parade or Party Costume.
Judging will be based on four criteria: 1. Creativity, 2. Accessories, 3. Confidence 4. Must be in Bockfest Hall from 6-7PM
Other items of interest for party guests: Cincinnati Recreation Commission will have arts and crafts activities for children from 5 until 6PM. Cincinnati Transit Historical Society will have their vintage Cincinnati Bus, (with the Crosley Field sign) available for people to tour, out in the street. Flying Pig Marathon will have their float in the garage space adjoining Bockfest Hall so folks can see them putting on the finishing touches. Cincinnati Vintage Baseball Club will have an information table about their organization.
