One of the region’s largest youth soccer program rebrands, signs kit deal
Kings Hammer Soccer Club, one of the largest youth soccer programs in the area, introduced its new brand logo today to represent the 3,000 youth players in the program who will participate in tryouts next month.
The team introduced its kit sponsors, Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and The Christ Hospital, as both will have logo representation on the front of all Kings Hammer jerseys displaying the Nike logo offered through Soccer.com. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
A new website and fan shop was unveiled today, and Nike merchandise is available at KingsHammer.com.
Earlier this year, Kings Hammer Soccer Club created a partnership with Bluegrass Soccer Club to create the new entity, Kings Hammer Bluegrass, which will build upon the footprint of the club in Versailles, KY and surrounding areas with options for growth throughout Central Kentucky. More than 300 youth players are expected to participate in this new program.
“We are excited to welcome two new partners in Nike and Soccer.com, that will join along side with our other great partners in Beacon Orthopaedics and The Christ Hospital as we continue to grow the sport of soccer with player-focused programs for all youth,” said Kevin McCloskey, Executive Director of Kings Hammer Soccer Club. “As participation in the sport continues to grow, we will look for new growth opportunities in other cities like Lexington and with new corporate partners.”
In addition to the regionally and nationally recognized Kings Hammer Soccer Club, Kings Hammer Soccer Club will offer three community programs to service the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area in the East (Clermont County), South (Boone County, Gallatin County, Grant County), Central (Hamilton County, Kenton County, Campbell County and Pendleton County.)
Starting next month, the new "Central Program" will combine the current population of East with the current Central population to create two youth and pre-academy programs utilizing both Town & Country Sports Complex and Four Seasons facility.
Tryouts for all ages will begin in May and registration is available at KingsHammer.com.
Each of the three locations will offer the following programs:
Juniors Program (under 4-under 7 in ages) - The Kings Hammer Juniors Program is a player-centered program that offers players the opportunity to develop technical fundamentals, balance/agility/coordination, and most importantly a fun and safe learning environment.
Youth Program (under 7-under 10 ages) - The Youth Program is designed for young players that are committed to the sport of soccer. The primary focus of the youth program is player development. Players are placed on age appropriate pools or teams to allow them to develop in the best environment. These appropriate environments are created to develop and challenge each player based on their current ability. Teams re created through the tryout period in late May 2019.
Pre-Academy (under 11-under 19 ages) - The Pre-Academy program is designed to provide players with the opportunity to train and prepare for the journey to our Kings Hammer Academy Program. The Pre-Academy also provides the opportunity for players to play other sports or have other interests outside of soccer. This program is designed to be flexible, convenient and affordable.
The Pre-Academy is the pathway to Kings Hammer Academy, which is one of the highest levels of development environments in the region. The Academy Program provides elite level coaching, facilities and competition to its players and teams. Kings Hammer Academy has produced players that have progress to play at the state, regional, national, collegiate and professional levels.
