Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network and Frisch’s partner to promote family travel to Cincinnati this summer

The Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network (RTN) and Frisch’s are partnering to offer a first-time promotion to drive tourism to Cincinnati this summer.

Fans who book a hotel on will be able to purchase half-price tickets to Reds game this summer and receive a free Frisch’s Hot Fudge Cake for each ticket purchased.

According to a study commissioned by the RTN last year, visitors spend $5 billion annually in the Cincinnati region driven by spending on food and beverage, retail and lodging.

To promote the offer, the Reds will run promotional mentions inside Great American Ball Park and on Reds radio broadcasts and the RTN will promote the campaign in its outer market summer campaign along with website content. Frisch’s will promote the offer in many of their tristate restaurants with signage along with website and social media content.

“Visitors enjoy experiencing Cincinnati traditions when they travel to our city for Reds baseball,” said Karen Forgus, Sr. Vice President of Business Operations at the Cincinnati Reds.

“Adding Frisch’s to the RTN’s discounted hotel and Reds ticket offer literally sweetens an already fantastic value even more!”

“It’s a natural fit for our three organizations to partner and leverage our promotional assets to invite families to enjoy Cincinnati for a summer getaway,” said Linda Antus, CEO & President of the Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network.

“Frisch’s has long served families throughout Reds Country in our tristate restaurants with our iconic Big Boy sandwiches and crinkle cut fries,” said Jason Vaughn, CEO of Frisch’s. “We are pleased to join the Reds and the RTN in promoting Cincinnati as a family destination.”

(Please note:  Offer not valid for June 23 and 24 tickets for Cincinnati Reds.)
