A Latte to Love

Coffee lovers, tea enthusiasts, and artisanal food fans gathered at Cincinnati Music Hall last weekend for a celebration of all things brewed: the 2026 Cincinnati Coffee Festival.

Organized annually by the Ohio River Foundation, the weekend was more than just a gathering for caffeine aficionados – it was a high-energy event dedicated to clean water and watershed conservation. Thousands of attendees poured through the doors to sample pour-overs, cold brews, loose-leaf teas, and sweet treats, while taking in live music and watching local baristas face off in the crowd-favorite Latte Art Throwdown.

Among dozens of local roasters, bakeries, and artisans, several standout vendors caught our attention across the festival floor:

Southern Charm Meets Loose-Leaf Tea

Bringing a taste of the South to the Queen City, Piper & Leaf Tea Company made a big impression. Hailing all the way from Alabama, this family-owned artisan tea company served up their signature blends, showcasing locally sourced botanicals and refreshing flavor profiles that proved coffee wasn't the only star of the show.

Coffee as a Canvas

One of the most unique stops of the weekend was Coffee Creatively. Blending fine art with espresso, this booth featured original paintings crafted using real coffee as the medium. Visitors stood fascinated as the artist demonstrated how rich dark roasts and subtle espresso washes could be layered to create textured, warm-toned artwork—giving whole new meaning to "coffee culture."

Local Sweeteners & Regional Favorites

For those looking to add a touch of natural sweetness to their morning brew, Dayton-based Dohner Maple Products delivered rich, pure Ohio maple syrup. Their handcrafted syrups and maple treats provided the perfect pairing for the high-octane espresso samples flowing throughout the hall.

A Savor-for-a-Cause Celebration

Beyond the tastings and artisan finds, every ticket sold directly supported the Ohio River Foundation’s ongoing work to protect and restore local waterways, habitats, and water quality across the region.

Between the incredible lineup of local and visiting vendors, the buzzing community energy, and the important environmental mission, this year's festival proved once again why it remains one of Cincinnati's most beloved autumn traditions.
