Building the Future

The community showed up in a big way for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati on Tuesday morning.

More than 300 community leaders gathered this morning at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center to honor four Cincinnati Construction Leaders: Tim Steigerwald, CEO of Messer Construction, Molly North, CEO of Al. Neyer, Bill Baker, Vice-President and Managing Partner of MSA Design and Michele O’Rourke, CEO of O-Rourke Wrecking Company, for their community leadership and to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati.

The BIG Breakfast raised $240,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati.

“The BIG Breakfast serves dual roles for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati as it provides a forum for a discussion on the importance of mentorship in our community while raising important funds to support our mission of matching Bigs and Littles,” said John Heater, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati.

The BIG Breakfast fund-raising event, now in its fifth year, was co-chaired by Ben Haenning of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Kyle Shumate of Clark Schaefer Hackett, and hosted by Rico Grant of Paloozanaire and Jamie Smith of the Business Courier.
