Sometimes three days isn’t enough time to try all your favorite foods. Lucky for you, Taste of Cincinnati has added an extra day this year.

The nation’s longest running food festival, and one of the largest street festivals in the country, is spread over four days, Friday through Monday, taking over four blocks in downtown Cincinnati..

With dozens of restaurants, food trucks, local breweries, wineries, and vendors from Findlay Market, you’ll find beloved local faves (goetta, LaRosa’s), plus a world of taste, including Greek, Belgian, Hawaiian, Greek and Nepalese. ,

If you need a break between dishes, you’ll find three stages and more than 30 musical acts performing throughout the weekend.

Gym Class Heroes headline Friday night, taking the Main Stage at 8:30 p.m. Other performers on opening night include the Kenny Welch Band, and Ma Crow & Co.

Music starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, with great regional acts all day long before Naked Karate Girls hit the Main Stage at 8 p.m. Performers on Sunday include Netherton Varner Band, Soul Pocket, and Tracy Walker, with Monday winding down with P. Ann Everson-Price and the All-Star Band, New Royals, and Dan Van Vechten Trio.

New this year, Taste has expanded their retail vendor lineup. From handmade goods and local art to sweet treats and specialty finds, there’s even more to discover like Arch & Charm, Baked by Brown Butter, Cincy Shirts, Foodie Cards, Over the Line Productions and Succulent Señorita Greenhouse.

The festival also debuted an award as part of the traditional “Best of Taste” competition. With the new CinGourmand Selection, judges have highlighted can’t-miss faves, including exclusive or limited-time items available only during the festival.

For restaurants, Hankering Southern Kitchen’s Shrimp & Grit Fritters and Paityn’s Place Soul Food Catering and Cuisine Soul Roll were chosen as the best snack/bite (appetizer). For entrees, the Smoked Jerk Chicken and Oxtail from Gee’s Caribbean Kitchen‍ and the Tropical Waffle Chicken Bites. ‍from picked. Taste of Belgium. On the dessert front, Pompilio’s Triple Berry Tiramisu with Lemon Curd Swirl and The Cheesecakery’s Biscoff Cheesecake Cupcake won top honors.

The Best of Taste Findlay Kitchen winners for appetizer/side dish were the Creole Shrimp & Smoked Gouda Grits from Soleil Kitchen and the Greek Nachos at The Passion Plate (both available Friday and Saturday). Top entrees from Findlay Kitchen were Sabor Alaniz’sChicken Taquitos and Lotus Street Food’s Chicken Drunken Noodles. The judges’ favorite desserts were the Acai Bowl from Banasun and the Bourbon Pecans from Daveyboy’s Bourbon Pecans.

In the food truck category, S.E.A. Cuisine’s Asian Taco with an Egg Roll and Aphrodite's Hankey Panky took top honors. The CinGourmand entree winners were the Fritada atMis Sabores and the Single Classic burger fromFifty West Brewing Co. Last but most certainly not least, the CinGourmand dessert went to Davis Cookie Collection for their Strawberry Dream Bowl and Cheesecake Stuffed Banana Pudding Cookie.
